What is neuropsychology

Neuropsychology is the study of brain-behavior relationships.

During a neuropsychological evaluation, we collect information about your memory, attention, processing speed, language, motor speed, and executive functioning (multi-tasking, judgment, organization, etc.). We use that data to determine whether you have something like Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), problems with memory, mild cognitive difficulties, or to help you better understand your strengths. Your performance provides us both with insight into your brain function.

What is neurodiversity

Simply put, neurodiversity is the idea that there is wide variability in individual brain function.

The term (coined by Judy Singer in 1998) takes the viewpoint that diversity in our social, emotional, and intellectual presentations is a positive thing. Unfortunately, many non-traditional learners find it difficult to excel in school or at work when faced with traditional learning models or expectations, and many have never quite understood why their learning style differed from others. We believe that neurodiversity is something to be celebrated, and help individuals uncover their strengths.

Ready to uncover and optimize your strengths?

It all starts today.

Our goal is to place the power of knowledge in your hands. We’ll work together to better understand how your brain works, and help you uncover and optimize your strengths. You will gain a better understanding and appreciation of your unique skills, which can lead to improved quality of life at work, school, and home.
